On 8th June 2022 Fr. A. Jayaprakash, Executive Director, Bosco Reach Out signed an MoU with Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS) for the implementation of Skill Training Activities under Skills Meghalaya of MSSDS in the State of Meghalaya.
Name of the project: Skill Training Activities / Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods through targeted Skill Intervention in North Garo hills, Meghalaya

Funding Agency: Meghalaya State Skill Development Society (MSSDS), Department of Labour, Govt. of Meghalaya
Objective of the Project: Under the Project/Scheme Youth of Meghalaya, specially the Youth of the North Garo Hills district will be mobilized to undertake various Skill Development Training in Agricultural Sector Job Roles viz. Organic Farmer, Mushroom Grower and Piggery Farmer.
The programme would also help in further prospering the native and Agriculture and Allied Activities in the area. The programme would also help Youth to take up Entrepreneurial Opportunity without requiring going outside the state in search of jobs.
Duration of the trainings is likely to be shorter than ordinary trainings, as the programme is designed to meet the local demands. Standardized courses would attract the youth and better participation.
Bosco Reach Out will extend its services for forward and backward linkages to help the trained youth to set up their units. In fact, the organization has received assurance from some institutions already.
