On October 19, 2023, a farmers’ training and demonstration on beekeeping for beginners as part of the project ‘Integrated Tribal Development Programme in Kusdhowa Development Block, Goalpara District, Assam’ at Rong Rong Para village was conducted, aimed to promote beekeeping, covering areas such as managing beehives, production and sale of honey, and other hive by-products. The resource person, Mr. Barkat Ullah, Master Trainer from Honey Mission, KVIC, Guwahati, conducted the training for the 28 beekeepers.
